UN DIA BONITO | REVIEW

1186- Midi Body-Conscious Seamless Royal Blue Dress with Long SleevesHola! I wanted to do a really quick review on a online boutique I am obsessing over. Un Dia Bonito is known for it's skin hugging midi and bandage dresses. I got to choose a dress from so I could review and introduce you gals to this brand. I ordered the Midi Body-Conscious Seamless Royal Blue Dress with Long Sleeves When I saw the "One Size Only" option I honestly didn't know what to expect but I was excited about receiving my dress. Once my package arrived I must admit I really doubted I would like the fit, but to my surprise I fell head-over-heels! Though the dress has long sleeves the seamless fabric (92%Nylon 8%Span) is very fresh and though body-conscious the detail that the dress has provides some sort of contouring and slimming effect (that we all love!).

I have to say I am very pleased with the brand and can not wait to place my order. Customer service is amazing as well as super fast shipping. Overall great quality! I love the fact that they feature not only dresses but tops as well as jumpsuits ideal for a daring girl not afraid of standing out and being sexy or embracing their curves. Click here to visit their site and check out their amazing inventory!

Happy Shopping!

GET HER LOOK: MIRANDA KERR | WINTER STYLE + ISABEL MARANT

Miranda Kerr wore a blue Isabel Marant knit wool coat, accessorized with a pair of western-inspired boots and a Givenchy Antigona bag.

I am a big Miranda Kerr fan! Her street style is impeccable and I love how she transitions many of her closet summer pieces into fall or winter, to me that is very important because we usually seem to forget certain pieces come cold weather.

Check out below how you can rock her look for a lot less!

START 2013 WITH THE RIGHT FOOT | 50 SHOES UNDER $50

I hope all you had an amazing New Years! I wanted to jump right back on my 50 under $50 series. Booties have been hot this past season and even though we are just starting Winter it's never to early to think about upcoming seasons and trends. If you ask anyone that knows me you'll find out I am a sucker for shoes! I used to think having a lot of shoes was the way to go when building a shoe collection.

Now I love buying a shoe that I actually LOVE... a shoe that when I reach for my outfit I know which shoe to pair it with. Usually we see ourselves reaching for the same pair of shoes every time. I think that purchasing shoes you love, and are unique and versatile will actually save you cash because you will find yourself buying less. I personally love booties! Not only do they work for Fall/Winter but they can easily be transitioned into Spring/Summer. So come Spring/Summer don't put those away!

Check out an updated 50 Shoes Under $50

besos!

PREPPY CHIC WITH A TWIST

Fall is all about layering and a great casual look for Fall has to be 'Preppy Chic' of course with a 2012 twist! From printed pants and skirts to giving the classic button down shirt look a twist by choosing the ever so trendy 'peter pan collar' shirt. The 'Chelsea' boot is another great 'must have' for Fall! Don't be afraid to experiment with patterns and fabrics, but don't overdo it! A great chambray top acts as a neutral so pair it or layer it with patterns! FASHION SPEAKS FOR YOU | BY: ANYA SARRE

Looking great entails that you are feeling great both on the inside and outside. The best fashion secret is that when you feel relaxed and enthusiastic! Emanate self-confidence.

The truth is that sometimes even superstars desire a self-confidence boost, and looking fashionable is the way to do it. Fashion allows you to display your personality and style through the clothes and accessories you wear. Whether you spend a couple of hours or just ten minutes preparing, it is always best when you don't look like you are trying too hard.

Undoubtedly, one of my favorite looks for the fall season is the beloved maxi skirt. There are plenty of designs, textures and styles on the market. However, the maxi skirt is indeed a global style that works on all physiques, and it can be styled as part of your outfit within a few minutes. An outrageous misunderstanding is that you have to be tall to pull off the maxi skirt. This cannot be further from the truth - if you are a small person, you can put on your maxi dress with fall heel boots or wedge boots. If you want to go for the vintage look, you can use flats or even stylish slippers for comfort on your feet.

A good pleated maxi dress with a thin cardigan to toss on the denim top is what you are going to need for this season. When choosing your skirt, you should pick an item based on its compatibility with the rest of your wardrobe. Be sure to look for a maxi skirt in a vivid flower print and wear it with a slim and solid large knit sweater for the ideal look.

In addition, you should not be terrified of accessories and shoes! Putting on accessories is vital to a fashionable look that is complete. You can choose either a statement necklace around your neck or perhaps large earrings or hoops to highlight your look. Dare to try a new color or pattern this fall season and stand out while looking fashionista fabulous!

If you are still confused what to wear this fall, it is simple: look for a maxi skirt, boots and fashion accessories and get thrilled for your brand new look! With these items, you are going to turn heads wherever you go.

'HANDS ON' BURLESQUE COSTUME DIY

If you follow me on Twitter then you know how obsessed I am with the movie 'Burlesque' {the repeated Tweets about me watching 'Burlesque every other day!} One of my favorites outfits was what you can find online under "Hands On" Burlesque Costume which is $90.00

Here is my take on this Burlesque costume!
Enjoy!

Of course you can get something similar to what I found online. Burlington Coat Factory, Ross or TJ Maxx have a great selection of inexpensive bras and shape wear!

Here's what you will need:

    DIY

  1. Long white gloves {found at any party/costume store}
  2. Hi-Waist Brief Shape wear {or something similar} *Make sure it fits like a glove you don't want to tug and pull since it is shape wear.
  3.  A {white and black} lace bra. *Preferably one with only the cups made of lace.
  4.  Long black gloves.
  5.  White boy short undies {Optional for those not wanting to wear just the Hi-Waist Brief!}
Extras and Tools Needed:
  •  Scissors
  •  Sewing Machine or Thread and Needle or someone who knows how to do either!
  •  Glitter
  •  Sequins or Sequin Fabric {Black}
  •  Fabric Glue
  •  Mod Podge and Sponge Brush {Optional if instead of sequins you want to use glitter}
  • Hairspray

Instructions:
  1. Cut along the seam of the gloves. That will open it up and create two hands sprinkle on some glitter on the black gloves and set with hairspray. *The starch in the hairspray will help keep the glitter from falling off. Buy a brand that is advertised to not leave film on hair, as a film over glitter will curb the shine.
  2. Use the fabric glue to glue on the black gloves to the bra, leaving some at the bottom to help you attach it to the Hi-Waist brief.
  3. Use the fabric glue again to glue the white gloves to the "butt" only since you want to know how they will be placed and how they will look in the front. Once you have it where you are pleased with how it looks use the fabric glue and set into place.
  4.  Now for the sequins you can place them just in the front by sewing them or sewing a piece of sequin fabric. Or like I said use glitter it's faster simply use the mod podge and glitter away like with the gloves you can set it with hairspray.
  5. Once the top and bottom look they way you want simply sew the bra to the hi-waist brief.

*You can substitute the black gloves with an old black t-shirt simply trace your hands up to your arm.

Use the picture below for reference.

 Let me know how it goes or what is your favorite Halloween costume DIY!

JEWEL TONES + FALL

I hope everyone had a wonderful first day of Fall! We are still in the 90s here in Texas but the nights have become a lot more cooler (Yay!)

Jewel tones is another Fall Trend I'm looking forward to. A nice change for the usual navy blues, grays and beige palettes we've come to feel safe around Fall/Winter.
