LAST MINUTE CHRISTMAS GIFT IDEAS | D.I.Y-ABLE AND/OR AFFORDABLE

With Christmas Day around the corner there may or may not be people in your Christmas list who you don't know what to get or are part of your extended family. You know the people you see at family gatherings you may not spend a lot of time together, but you still want to get them something small but meaningful to let them know you thought of them during this special season. Here are a few ideas all D.I.Y able or affordable.

Baked Goods - Pies, cookies, or breads. Even if you bake them out of the box, nothing fancy or complicated to make! Packaging is EVERYTHING! For a pie keep it in its baking aluminum pan add a paper doily to cover it and tie it like a gift with ribbon. If you don't want to bake then I suggest Recipe in a Jar - Pack all the dry ingredients of your favorite dessert in a mason jar and tie with a ribbon or buy them already pre-packaged like these from Big Lots . Hot Cocoa Mugs are perfect too! It's something they will use for years to come. Another great gift is a plant like a Bamboo Plant or Succulent Potted Plant my mom has always said when receiving a bamboo plant as a gift it brings good-luck. You can find bamboo plants and succulent plants at your local Walgreens or CVS. You can also try Scented Soap I love the ones available at TJ MAXX or Tuesday Mornings they are all under $9.99 Candles or Scented Oils as well as Handmade Wall Art or Framed Prints like those from Burlington Coat Factory or ROSS. Generally you want to focus on items that will be enjoyed by the whole household or for the home, since you are not focusing on the kids or the male in the household. Remember it's not about what you give but more about making the recipient of your gifts feel special and loved.

I hope you have an amazing holiday and I thank all of you for the love and support you have given me in these 6 months of blogging.

Happy Holidays! I love you guys

XO,
